Co-op Lobbies, Invites, and Finding Teammates
Burglin’ Gnomes is strongest with a coordinated group. Steam discussions already contain many LFG-style posts, which means players are mostly trying to answer one practical question: how do I get a reliable crew and avoid a useless lobby?
Host Checklist
Section titled “Host Checklist”| Step | Why It Matters |
|---|---|
| Decide who hosts before launch night. | Avoids every player waiting in a different menu. |
| Use voice chat or an external call. | Tasks and hazards need short, live callouts. |
| Pick a run goal. | ”Progression,” “loot,” and “mess around” are different runs. |
| Assign a caller. | The caller keeps task order from turning into noise. |
| Rotate rescue duty. | Rescue is useful, but one player should not spend every run babysitting. |
Good Callouts
Section titled “Good Callouts”- “Task first.”
- “Homeowner upstairs.”
- “Exit route clear.”
- “I am carrying bulky loot.”
- “Do not trigger explosion yet.”
- “Rescue needed in kitchen.”
Public Lobbies
Section titled “Public Lobbies”If you use public groups or Steam discussions, make the post specific: region, play time, voice chat preference, and whether you want serious progression or chaos. A vague “add me” post gets weaker teammates than a clear “launch night progression, mic preferred, 6 PM Pacific.”
