Steam Deck and Controller Guide

SteamDB lists Burglin’ Gnomes as Steam Deck Playable, not Verified. That is still useful, but it comes with caveats players should know before launch night.

  • Some functionality may require touchscreen, virtual keyboard, or a community configuration.
  • The game can show mouse/keyboard or non-Deck controller icons.
  • Entering text may require manually opening the on-screen keyboard.
  • Some text may be small.
  • Default graphics configuration is listed as performing well.

Start with a short solo test before joining a six-player group. Confirm that you can join a lobby, use voice/chat, interact with objects, grab and throw reliably, and read task text. If text entry is required for names or lobby codes, practice opening the virtual keyboard once before the run.

Deck players should avoid being the only task caller until they know the UI is readable on their screen.
