Controls, Keybinds, and Voice Chat
Exact launch keybinds need the released build. What matters before launch is knowing which actions deserve clean bindings and callouts.
| Action | Why It Matters |
|---|---|
| Move / look | Core first-person movement; keep sensitivity low enough to carry objects through narrow spaces. |
| Grab / carry | The most important co-op action. Call out when you are carrying something large so others stop blocking doors. |
| Throw / drop | Use to pass items or clear clutter; avoid throwing mission items into chaotic rooms. |
| Push / interact | Likely used for physics objects, buttons, doors, and task props. |
| Sprint | Useful for escapes, but do not outrun the teammate carrying the objective item. |
| Ragdoll / recover | Community clips emphasize slapstick physics; recovery space matters more than raw speed. |
| Voice chat | Steam lists online interactivity and in-game chat. Use short calls: task, room, danger, exit. |
Recommended Setup
Section titled “Recommended Setup”Use the default controls for the first run unless something feels physically awkward. The most important inputs are grab/carry, interact, throw/drop, sprint, and voice chat. If one of those feels unreliable, fix it before serious progression runs.
SteamDB lists Steam Deck as Playable, but with small-text and controller/UI caveats. That means Deck players should expect occasional keyboard/touchscreen use and should test text entry before hosting.
