Release Date, Demo Status, and Launch FAQ

Burglin' Gnomes header art

Burglin’ Gnomes launches on June 10, 2026 at 14:00 UTC. That is 7:00 AM Pacific on June 10. The Steam page lists the game as coming soon, and SteamDB mirrors the same unlock time.

The public demo is the awkward part. SteamDB still lists the old demo app 4356080, but the Steam store page no longer exposes a demo button. Anonymous SteamCMD, authenticated SteamCMD, exact depot download, and local Steam install scans all failed to produce a build from this machine. That matches the official news item saying the demo would be taken down before launch.

QuestionAnswer
When does it release?June 10, 2026, 14:00 UTC / 7:00 AM Pacific.
Can I install the demo today?Probably only if your Steam account already claimed it before removal. The demo app exists in SteamDB, but the store no longer shows a demo button and authenticated SteamCMD could not obtain a new license.
Is it free? The Steam page does not list a final price yet. Treat price as unconfirmed until launch.
How many players?Steam lists online co-op; the store description says up to 5 friends, meaning a 6-player group.
Is it on Steam Deck?SteamDB lists it as Playable, with controller/text caveats.
Is it on console? No reliable official console release is listed on Steam today.

Wishlist the game on Steam, set up your group, and decide who is going to host. If your group is coming from the demo, assume some details may change at launch: item names, crafting costs, task behavior, enemy tuning, and home upgrade requirements are all exactly the kinds of values that can shift between demo and 1.0.

The wiki is launch-ready now and will switch to full-game extracted data once the released build is downloadable. Until then, pages use Steam, SteamDB, public news, press previews, and community reports.
